Couples photography is about celebrating the two of you, whether you're marking a special occasion or simply want photographs of your relationship as it is now. From quiet, romantic moments to plenty of laughter, we'll create photographs that capture your connection and personalities.
Date night or surprise proposal?
Whether it's a laidback couples photo session or surprise proposal to capture, my approach combines beautifully directed portraits with genuine, candid moments.
I use natural light and gentle prompts to give you something to do, rather than simply asking you to pose, creating space for natural interaction along the way. The aim is for your photographs to feel like the two of you, not a performance for the camera.
What to expect
We'll plan your session around you, whether it's timing the sunset for a proposal, or planning an adventure. Sessions are relaxed and typically last around an hour. We'll walk, chat, laugh and explore together, with direction from me whenever you need it.
You don't need to know how to pose or worry about being naturally photogenic. I'll guide you through the session and create a gallery filled with photographs you'll genuinely love of the two of you.

Let's Chat
Once you're booked in, we can chat online or on the phone to plan your session, discuss any concerns, and generally get excited!
STEP 03
Picture time
The day of your session! We'll meet, chat, and walk to our final location spot to photos together. I'll capture a mix of beautiful candids and more directed poses, all the while being pretty chilled and having a good time.
STEP 04
Delivering photos
Your full gallery, edited in my signature style, will be delivered within 3 weeks of your session (unless otherwise discussed).
If you're planning to use your session photos for an announcement, I can always send over some sneak peeks asap while I finish the rest of your gallery, just ask!
FAQ
How do you photograph a surprise proposal?
We'll plan everything together beforehand so I know where to be and what to expect without giving anything away. I'll keep things as discreet as possible and capture the anticipation, the moment itself and those genuine reactions afterwards. Once the surprise is over, we can spend some time taking relaxed portraits together while you're still enjoying the excitement of the moment.
What if we're awkward/do we need to know how to pose?
Don't worry, and no not at all. Most people aren't used to having professional photographs taken together, so I'll guide you throughout with gentle direction and natural prompts. We'll chat, move around, laugh and enjoy being together, while I capture a mix of beautifully directed portraits and genuine candid moments. The aim is for you to feel comfortable, have fun and hopefully forget you're even having your photograph taken.
Where do couples sessions take place?
We can photograph your session somewhere that feels like you, whether that's your favourite beach, somewhere meaningful to your relationship or simply a beautiful spot in Cornwall. I'm happy to suggest locations too, depending on the kind of photographs you're looking for and the feel you want from your session.
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
Don't worry, we'll keep an eye on the forecast and make a plan together. A little cloud or drizzle doesn't necessarily mean we need to change anything, and sometimes it can make for beautiful photographs. If the weather is genuinely unsuitable for your session, we'll look at rescheduling for another day that works for us both.
