Those early days and first milestones seem to change almost overnight. Newborn and baby photography is about capturing the tiny details, growing personalities and connections that you'll want to remember forever.
For sleepy newborn photos, I recommend the session takes place in the first two weeks.
Heartfelt moments at home
I take a relaxed, often natural-light approach to newborn and baby photography, usually photographing you at home where everyone can feel comfortable. Rather than relying on props or elaborate posing, I'll capture your baby as they are, alongside the cuddles, interactions and everyday moments that make this stage so special.
What to expect
Sessions are relaxed and typically last around an hour, but there's no pressure to stick rigidly to a schedule. Babies can be fed, cuddled, changed and settled whenever they need to be. I'll work with the natural light and space in your home to create beautifully intimate photos of this time.
For older babies, the sessions can be at home or outdoors.

I'll confirm a date & location with you, and once your session is paid for, you're all booked in!

Let's Chat
Once you're booked in, we can chat online or on the phone to plan your session, discuss any concerns, and generally get excited!
STEP 03
Picture time
The day of your session! We'll meet, chat, and walk to our final location spot to photos together. I'll capture a mix of beautiful candids and more directed poses, all the while being pretty chilled and having a good time.
STEP 04
Delivering photos
Your full gallery, edited in my signature style, will be delivered within 3 weeks of your session (unless otherwise discussed).
FAQ
How old should my baby be for a newborn session?
There’s no strict age limit. I photograph newborns in those early days, but I also love capturing babies as they grow and change. Whether you want to document those tiny newborn details or a later milestone, we can choose a time that works for you and your baby
What if my baby won't settle during the session?
That's completely fine. Babies don't always follow the plan, and your session doesn't need to either. We can pause for feeds, cuddles, nappy changes or whatever your baby needs. Those quiet, in-between moments can make some of the loveliest photographs.
Do you use props or pose the baby?
My style is relaxed and natural, I avoid using elaborate props or heavily posed setups. I'm happy to include keepsake items for a photo or two. I prefer to gently guide you when needed, as most of the session is about capturing your baby as they are, with you, along with the cuddles, connections and little details that make this stage so special.
Can we include the whole family?
Absolutely. These sessions aren't just about your baby. I love capturing the connection between you too, whether that's cuddles with parents, siblings meeting the newest member of the family (including any pets!), or those little everyday interactions. We'll make time for family photographs alongside plenty of photos focused on your baby.
